Ivy Rose Hender - Ivy Rose Artistry

I am grateful to be inspired by beautiful Prince Edward Island. I paint vibrant images of life by the ocean. I experiment with different mediums to create unusual effects. Some of my paintings are distressed and some are done with fluid acrylics to create sunsets and the flow of the ocean.

Half of my year is spent living beside Basin Head Beach where I enjoy the family and friends I have been blessed with in my "happy place". 

​

The rest of my year is spent living in Halifax. I am enjoying exploring the beaches and beautiful places in Nova Scotia, which is inspiring some of my recent work.

I have a beautiful new studio loft where I paint and make jewelry

I am grateful to my husband Paul who does my framing. Together we have 6 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
