Sir Andrew MacPhail Homestead
Experience the beauty of nature and culture-themed artwork by eighteen Island artists at the Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead in Orwell, PEI this August.
A few of our artisans displaying here include Carolyn Hessinger, Betty Jenkins, Helene Larouche, Clair Nantes, Sylvia Poirier, Dagny Rossignol, Donna Serres, Lorraine Vatcher, and Margaret Wailes.
The artists, sharing Sir Andrew's love for the Island, aim to capture its essence with pen, pencil, and brush.
Visitors can enjoy the creative art, desserts, and a leisurely walk along the woods path by the stream.
Be part of the Summer Lunch & Lecture Series on Sundays at 1 pm, where Sandra Martin, journalist and great-niece of Sir Andrew, will speak about the Pen & Pencil Club and its impact on its members and society.
Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in PEI's rich artistic and cultural heritage.
