Betty Jenkins
Betty has been showing her work in various Prince Edward Island galleries for twenty years. A watercolour artist at heart, she likes to paint island landscapes in various styles and mediums.

“I love to create whimsical PEI scenes in vibrant colours and humorous simplicity. Initially, I will start with an island expression or ‘things my mother said’, then imagine how I can express that in line and colour. I call these paintings my ‘Wonky’ paintings. They are happy exaggerations on island landscape.”

Betty is a former partner in Howes Hall Gallery in Brakely Beach. She spends her winters in Mexico
